    Description

    Through the neuroscience of play, Brainlab advances clinical training and education, promoting the adaptation to technological advances and creating digital models of complete interventions.

    Our digital ecosystem is an open interface and forms a framework for third parties to accelerate innovation in other clinical areas as well.

    Brainlab systems are established in around 6300 hospitals in 120 countries to offer doctors and patients better treatment possibilities.

    Job Description

    • Perform custom installations to establish functionality for Brainlab products that includes radiotherapy, radiosurgery and Image guided Navigation Systems
    • Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and utilization of engineering expertise
    • Update and service Brainlab products
    • Effectively communicate with customers to understand complex problems and adequately troubleshoot issues
    • Instruct users in calibration checks, surveys, and maintenance of Brainlab equipment
    • Deliver high level of customer service
    • Read, analyze, interpret and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
    • Perform periodic preventative maintenance
    • Demonstrate and promote Brainlab Solutions and services during client meetings
    • Keep abreast of new developments regarding Brainlab and competitive products and services through training and independent research and analysis
    • Provide onsite guidance and assistance to customers during treatment maximizing efficiency and usage
    • Keep customer uptodate regarding their requests and minimize down time
    • Ensure that all service assignments are in conformity with agreements made
    • Perform and document all mandatory administrative tasks accurately according to the Brainlab policies in a timely manner
    • Provide ideas and innovation to improve current products, provide sustainable input for continued engineering
    • Be friendly, calm, and competent on a facetoface basis with customers
    • Ability to travel 60%
    • Plan, organize, and implement all service assignments conscientiously and independently following the directive from the Support Manager
    Qualifications

    • B.Tech/B.E . in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Related Technical Field with 48 years of experience
    • Must be a selfstarter, working without close supervision and be able to successfully manage service activities in assigned territory
    • Demonstrated engineering experience with medical devices
    • Computer expertise, familiarity, and demonstrated expertise with hardware troubleshooting
    • Able to apply critical thinking and perform analysis successfully under challenging conditions in a clinical environment
    • Robotics and/or electromechanical systems service experience is a must
    • Proficiency in the use of test equipment and hand tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters
    • Excellent organization and time management skills, and the ability to manage many work streams simultaneously
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Works well in a team environment and individually
    • Demonstrates leadership abilities
    • High comfort level with software and technology
    This position is based in Chennai, Hyderabad or Bengaluru.
