- Develop and execute effective business development strategies to expand the client base and drive revenue growth in the US market.
- Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, and other lead generation methods.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and business plans to senior management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their concerns and requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the US market, preferably in the IT staffing industry.
- BDM/Account Managers who can walk-in with clients, have good relationships and hit the ground running
- BDM can add any type of client, Tier-1, System Integrator or Direct Client.
- Strong knowledge of IT services, software solutions, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office.
- Should have good communication skills and be open and confident to pick up the phone and make calls.
- Should be smart and have good analytical skills.
- US work experience and understanding of US business culture and market dynamics.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
