Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Managers / Executives to join our team, with a focus of driving growth of placement / secondment of Engineering professionals in the Oil and Gas, Construction, and Infrastructure sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management with Executive search / contract hire Companies. As a Business Development Manager/ Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic plans to expand our presence in the market. This role requires strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Research and identify potential clients, projects, and opportunities for executive search / secondment of Engineers within the Oil and Gas, Construction, and Infrastructure sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in target organizations.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop tailored solutions and proposals for clients.
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and closing.
• Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services and expand our network.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics related to the Staffing industry.
• Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market developments to management.
• Continuously seek ways to improve sales processes, strategies, and effectiveness to drive business growth.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management roles with service sector companies.
• Strong industry knowledge and understanding of market trends, project lifecycles, and key players in the Staffing sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and build rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend meetings, and participate in industry events.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity and a results-driven mindset.
