- Selling products, systems and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability. Targeting for assigned business units or product groups
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product, systems and services offering and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls
- Creating value added for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers, Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know how sharing and cross collaboration
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection and project management activities when needed
- Bachelor's degree in electrical / electronics / instrumentation engineering from a reputed university
- Require more than 5 years of experience in selling field instrumentation and analyzers are preferred
- Good hands experience in instrument like temperature, pressure meter, flow meter, level meter and gas or liquid analyzers
- Experience in direct sales, business development and customer management
- Willing to travel domestically (up-to 70%)
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

You will be working as Sales Specialist and will be part of Process Automation business for Measurement & Analytics division based in Hyderabad, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Manager and will be responsible for sales of products, systems and services within a designated market in accordance with strategy.
