    Description

    L&T SuFin is a B2B Ecommerce Platform which will leverage L&T's deep knowledge and capabilities in Procurement (through its huge volume of annual procurement) and Logistics, Financing, and IT solutions. This platform is essentially a digital marketplace for SME buyers and sellers (mainly focused on construction and industrial products & services) to connect in an efficient manner, thereby enabling sellers to expand their sales reach, and for buyers to find required products and services at optimal cost and quality.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationship with existing Customers and pitching for Repeat orders by cross selling and upselling.
  • Work directly with suppliers to obtain bids on new or ongoing projects.
  • Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
  • Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices including resolving their issues and queries.
  • Be able to work centrally with team members and other cross-functional teams to understand their requirement and get competitive quotes from Pan-India vendors.
  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
  • Be able to coordinate centrally with other departments within a company for the purchase of specialized materials or equipment.

    • Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant/Officer or Sourcing Officer/Manager.
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures and complete procure-to-pay cycle.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of market research.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Fluent in Hindi and English
  • Must be Mumbai based

    • Qualifications:


    • Engineer Graduate must

  • MBA would be good to have.


    • • 4+ years of experience in Procurement


    • Good at negotiations, followup, liasioning etc.


    • Good at communication, building relationships, extracting information and convincing to place new orders – A Sales Profile / Relationship management.
