    Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Liquidation Strategy (Retail Analytics)
    As the Liquidation Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing liquidation strategies for products, aligning them with promotional pricing plans with a focus on optimizing inventory levels and maximizing lifetime margin.
    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze inventory levels, market conditions, and customer demand, and develop innovative approaches to liquidation.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement processes and procedures for the efficient execution of liquidation strategies in coordination with supply chain, Marketing, and sales team.

    • Collaborate with merchandising, finance, and supply chain teams to identify excess inventory and discontinued products and develop liquidation strategies to maximize recovery value.

    • Coordinate with suppliers, external partners, and distributors to maximize opportunity on stock clearance through return to vendor agreements

    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of liquidation activities, including sell-through rates, recovery value, and liquidation costs.

    • Manages, maintains, reviews, and improves the SLAs, critical metrics and other Business and Customer Metrics in line with our business strategies.

    • Handle large datasets – Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and generate actionable insights

    • Ensure team is trained on all corporate/process and skill-based trainings and knowledge retention and improvement in the team

    • Work closely with global client's multiple cross-functional teams to identify business needs, requirements and prioritize needs

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Members aimed at delivering highly productive processes and programs.

    • Performance management: To observe, assess & record Team member performance on key metrics and leverage this data for pay & hike recommendations.

    Qualifications we seek in you
    Minimum Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Retail Management, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

    • Experience in inventory management, retail operations, or related roles, with a focus on liquidation strategies.

    • Experience developing and implementing liquidation strategies in a retail or consumer goods environment.

    • Knowledge of inventory management systems and tools, as well as online marketplaces and liquidation channels.
    Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and implement innovative solutions to optimize liquidation processes.

    • People management experience. Manage a team of 10-15 people

    • Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others

    • Ability to execute and follow through on high-quality output, with limited oversight.
