Role Specifics
Responsible for planning and execution of various marketing initiatives and special projects for the growth of the BFSI category. The core ownership areas will be:
1. Core Responsibility: Selling credit cards and loans by effectively utilizing our own data and reach, monitoring the conversion funnel, cross-selling, sharp segmentation, referrals, and customer communication via channels like notifications, emails, WhatsApp, IVR, etc.
2. Planning and Execution of Special Projects: Monitoring the funnels of various banks and credit cards and strategizing smart interventions to improve them. While you will have execution support available, it would be good if you came with hands-on execution experience.
3. Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as telesales, EarnKaro, partnerships, etc., to ensure momentum around your projects and targets.
4. Creative + Messaging: Creating compelling content for all channels and working with the creative team to design the creatives for channels like emails, push notifications, app and web properties, etc.
5. Monitoring Campaign Impact: Daily monitoring and optimizing of the promotional campaigns on various channels - win an inch everyday attitude.
6. Data Obsession: Reviewing the data daily to determine the next course of action.
7. Scale: Building for scale.
Own cross-selling & referral strategy for cards:
The core ownership areas will be:
Cross-selling: Owning the strategy for cross-selling credit cards to the existing user base who has at least one card. Which segments to target, budgets, communication, etc., would be your ownership.
Build a card-referral network: Our existing customers can be a huge channel for getting their friends and family to take credit cards from us. You would be required to build this channel ground up and own the targets.
Must-Have Skills
1. Should be able to demonstrate real experience in ROI-driven promotional campaigns via various marketing channels (preferably for sales of credit cards, loans, etc.)
2. Strong in thinking about segmentation: deciding what data to push in what channel and the rationale behind doing so.
3. Data Obsessive: Should have MIS knowledge if coming from the BFSI/Credit card domain.
