    Role Description

    The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Executive will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a thorough understanding of company products and services.

    • Client Acquisition: Actively seeking and acquiring new clients for the freight forwarding Business.
    • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Market Research: Staying updated about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify potential business opportunities.
    • Quoting and Negotiation: Providing clients with accurate and competitive freight quotes, and negotiating terms to secure best business deals.
    • Collaboration: Coordinating with other departments such as operations and logistics to ensure smooth execution of services.
    • Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the company.
    • Customer Education: Educating clients on various shipping options, routes, and services offered by the freight forwarding company.
    • Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving any issues or concerns raised by clients, working closely with internal teams to find solutions.
    • Reporting: Providing regular sales reports and updates to management on sales performance and market trends.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven sales experience in the logistics industry
    • Experience in dealing with customers at all levels
    • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
    • Awareness of market trends and competition
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM software
    • Willingness to travel
