    Job Description:

    As a Business Development Manager - Security at Tech Data, you will play a vital role in fostering relationships between our customers and suppliers. Your primary responsibility will be to execute our suppliers' strategy, maximizing revenue, net gross profits, and customer satisfaction. By developing deep relationships with key individuals in the supplier organization and partners, you will drive success in the sales cycle.

    Responsibilities:

    Create, develop, and implement supplier/vendor specific initiatives to drive business growth.

    Engage with channel partners and vendors to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration.

    Execute tasks related to credit management, order processing, and AR collections.

    Drive operational excellence through effective pipeline management, forecasting, and inventory management.

    Learn from existing Business Development Managers to identify market potential and expand the customer base.

    Work closely with channel partners to enhance sales competencies and facilitate deal closures through hands-on involvement and coaching.

    Coordinate with suppliers to provide partner technical and sales training on new products and technologies.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

    1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.

    Master's/Postgraduate Degree with a focus on Sales preferred.

    Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business field required.

    Strong execution skills, with the ability to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed.

    Proficient in basic clerical tasks and data entry.

    Basic mathematical skills for calculations.

    Attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in attending to important information.

    Clear and effective communication skills in English and the local language.

    Proficient in creating and conducting formal presentations.

    Persuasive negotiation skills and the ability to close transactions with mutually beneficial results.

    Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring completion of tasks.

    Ability to work well under pressure, handle high workloads, and meet deadlines.

    Upholding social, ethical, and organizational standards in all business activities.

    Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

    Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

    Sensitivity towards the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.

    Quick learner when adapting to new systems and technology.

    Basic proficiency in relevant computer system applications.

    Working Conditions:

    Distribution center environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, high places, wet and/or humid conditions, and outside weather conditions.

    Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as required by business needs.

    On-call availability as necessary.

    Professional office environment.

    Frequent travel required (approximately 50% of the time).
