    Position: Development Manager

    Reports to: Director- Engineering

    Responsibilities & Deliverables:

    This person would be responsible to lead a team of Platform engineers and Big Data engineers to build and enhance best-in-class data analytics platform and solutions.

    Job Description:

    • Build scalable pipelines for data analysis and transformation
    • End-to-end development of Platform components, feature sets and enhancements
    • Design, review and implementation of code standards and best practices to ensure quality and cleanliness in product code stack
    • Scrum planning and effort estimation for managing consistent and precise release schedules
    • Coordinate design discussion and code review among team members and encourage and influence design improvements
    • Adoption of agile methodology, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices for faster delivery of patch and feature releases
    • Collaborate effectively with peer teams and stakeholders - product management, QA, documentation, delivery and support teams
    • Actively participate in architecture discussion and product strategies
    • Design and influence technical roadmap across Mobileum product stack
    • Encourage diverse viewpoints from team members, maintain innovation-focused & result-oriented work-culture
    • Plan and coordinate the volume and integration testing in a production like environment for specifying resource requirements for different deployment scenarios – data volume, velocity and possible exceptions

    Educational Qualification:

    • BE. / B.Tech., M.E./M. Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA from a reputed college.

    Skill Set and Work Experience:

    • 10 to 14 years' experience of industry experience preferably in telco network product development.
    • Knowledge of 3G/4G/5G network signalling is an added plus
    • At-least 3+ years of experience in building and managing software engineering teams.
    • 5+ years of hands-on programming experience in Java.
    • Well familiar with Big Data technologies – Spark, Hadoop, Mahout, Pig, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Ambari, and MapReduce.
    • Strong knowledge on distributed computing, parallel processing, in-memory computation and scalable fault-tolerant platform architecture.
    • Practical knowledge of Spark's performance tuning and optimization techniques is must.
    • Experience with Agile & Devops methodologies.
    • Well familiar with Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts.
    • Hands-on experience of ingestion, enrichment and mining of unstructured data is desirable.
    • Experience of telecom domain, GSM, 4G network and signaling system, etc is a plus.
